The Matrix was an amazing movie. If you like action movies, you probably loved The Matrix. I saw it more than once at the theatre (which is an extreme rarity for me) and then bought it as the first DVD in my DVD collection. The funny thing is, as amazing as the movie is, I was fascinated by what went into the making of The Matrix - and couldn't help but be excited by the few glimpses of what we can expect to see in The Matrix 2 and 3...

...The camera moves around the movie set a bit... people in the background... people moving around... a blues riff begins on a single harmonica... the camera continues to pan and we see that the music is actually coming from Laurence Fishburne, sitting in a chair on the set. This very informal intro sets the tone for the rest of the documentary. Matrix Revisited delivers over an hour of behind-the-scene looks at not only the techniques used to make the movie, but also the camaraderie and interactions between the actors.

Matrix Revisited will show you who got hurt, who started out hurt, what stunts the actors actually did (most of them), how the helicopter crash was done, the magic of the 'bullet-time' process, the detail that was evident even at the script and storyboard levels - and how amazing the Wachowski brothers were as directors and visionaries.

There is also supposed to be DVD Rom content on this disc. I am unsure as to whether the 'InterActual' player is functional or not, but it didn't work with the two systems I tested it on.

Also included on the Matrix Revisited disc are (at least) two hidden features. See if you can find them.
