Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) was your typical high school senior. Well ok, not exactly. He wasn't the type to skip class to go to the beach, or to go to late night parties. In fact he was the class president, and on his way to Georgetown University (provided he wins a scholarship based on a speech about moral fiber, that is). He was removed from the typical stuff all to make sure he got good grades and continued his education. But his life takes a sudden U-turn when he spies his neighbors' niece (who is house-sitting while they are away) getting undressed. Thus starts the funny and sexy teen movie that is The Girl Next Door.

Matthew quickly falls in love with this new girl, Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert), and she seems to have the ability to make him do things he wouldn't normally consider. Soon after meeting her, she has him strip naked in the middle of the street, and then later go skinny-dipping in his principal's pool, not to mention the other acts that aren't befitting a person who is supposed to know what good moral fiber is. Then Matthew finds out what Danielle used to do for a living.

Danielle's past as a porn star throws their relationship into a tail-spin that leaves the sexy teen going back into the biz at the Las Vegas Adult Film Convention. From there, it's a roller coaster ride as Matthew tries to win her heart and get back a lot of lost money that all ends in a prom night no one will ever forget.

One of the special features, "Stimulating Trivia Track", is basically random facts about random things (related to the movie or not) popping up like a VH1 music video. This was an interesting feature (especially if you enjoy triva) but didn't really seem to add a lot to the overall experience.

The Girl Next Door is a fun movie jam-packed with twists and turns that will keep you watching right to the very end.
