TinkerBell has gone from the cute little fairy that supported Peter Pan to having her own world, friends, and stories. I do believe that she is quite a bit more popular than her old buddy Peter now. TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure is an all new tale of Tink's adventures with her friends.

In Pixie Hollow, it seems that there is a class of fairies to do literally every job, even polish silverware. TinkerBell is a Tinker Fairy. That means that she is an inventor, or at least tries her best to be! Her inventions don't always work, but they're always very inventive! Every year, Pixie Hollow has a festival to celebrate the new harvest moon. This year is very important though as it is a Blue Harvest Moon, which only happens once every 8 years. The magical moonstone will be used to "water" the Pixie Dust Tree when the Blue Moon shines on it. This means that the moonstone will need to be placed in the top of a scepter. Every year, a different fairy class is chosen to make the scepter. This year, it is the task of the Tinker Fairies, and Fairy Mary nominates TinkerBell to be the representative of the Tinker Fairies to create the scepter. This means that TinkerBell is also given the very precious, very fragile, one of a kind moonstone! You can see how this might become a problem.

Terrance likes TinkerBell. He is a good friend to her and is determined to help her create the scepter in any way that he can. Unfortunately, he really doesn't know the meaning of personal space and hovers just a bit too much. Of course, TinkerBell does have a short temper that she really needs to learn to get under control. In a horrible accident, TinkerBell ends up breaking the irreplaceable moonstone! Not knowing what to do, she is really lost. But then Tink hears of a magic mirror, The Mirror of Incanta, that can grant 3 wishes. It was stolen by pirates years ago, but they only used two of the wishes before crashing and being lost forever. This means that there is one wish left. The clues to find it are hidden in an ancient chant. Tink decides to find the mirror to wish the moonstone back together!

Tink has an unexpected guest in a tiny firefly, who doesn't make a very good first impression when he eats her food. His name is Blaze. I think he's adorable myself! Tink relents and lets him stay though. The two travel on a very perilous journey to try and mend the broken moonstone. Through it all, Tink learns a little bit more about friendship and patience!

There are also several bonus features available. The Bonus short is cute. It's a guide to Pixie Hollow. I think that it's really entertaining to get to see the fairies as they go about their daily lives. There's also an "Outtakes & Bloopers" that is really cute to watch. The scenes you never saw are very short, just a few seconds, like bloopers really. They are quite funny! The deleted scenes are more sketches than fully animated scenes, but neat to see how the story could have gone. There are even more bonus features as well.

All in all, TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure is a cute little movie. I think it's something that kids will greatly enjoy. You get both the DVD and the Blu-ray together when you buy it on Blu-Ray. All of the bonus features are on the DVD as well, so even if you don't have a Blu-ray player and plan to get one in the future, you'll still have all the features on DVD. If you're a Disney fan, I recommend that you go get TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure today!
