Scarface: Platinum Edition takes the 20+ year old cult classic and revitalizes it with cleaned up digital sound and color. Now you can experience the Miami underworld of the late 70's and early 80's like never before, with not only 5.1 Dolby Digital, but also 5.1 DTS.

Tony Montana is one of thousands of "political refugees" shipped out of Cuba to the U.S. He soon finds a way to get a green card and starts on his path to take what's coming to him ... the world. Scarface follows Montana as he quickly rises in the ranks of a cocaine drug ring.

"...You gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women." This simple philosophy is Montana's plan for going to the top and making sure he has everything that is coming to him. Unfortunately, it isn't long after his rise to the top that he begins a destructive path to his own downfall in one of the most recognizable and frequently quoted scenes of Hollywoodom, the mansion shoot-out.

Scarface: Platinum Edition not only revamps the tale, but it also comes with a ton of extras that makes this worth the purchase alone. One of the more unique features is the ability to watch the movie with a counter letting you know just how many times Tony's favorite obscenity is uttered, or how many bullets fly in front of the camera.

The Platinum Edition also comes with several featurettes covering everything from Director Brian De Palma and Al Pacino examining the original 1932 movie, to the cast members talking about their favorite memories from the show. This DVD set also comes with a series of clips showing exactly how the movie differs when played on network television.

Scarface: Platinum Edition brings Tony's life and death to an all new quality with not only enriched sound and visuals, but also a massive amount of special features that will make any Scarface fan go crazy.
