With a title of Ding Dong Dead, you can probably already guess what this movie is about. We've all heard of the not-so-nice game that kids play called ding dong ditch where you ring a doorbell and run away before they people can answer it, just to annoy the living daylights out of them. But most of us grow out of that, hopefully before you're out of your teens. What happens though when grown women get bored and decide to pull pranks on a neighborhood man?

Doug (Luke Y. Thompson) got fired from his job, so he spends all day at home daydreaming about the woman across the street, Claudia (Elina Madison), and trying to find a new job, but not too hard. In the middle of this job search, he decides to go to the nearest convenience store for a cold beverage. On his way back, there are two random women dressed in all black walking down the middle of the street. Most of us would probably just go around them, but Doug decides to simply drive slowly behind them until they move. Obviously, they're not planning on moving or they wouldn't be walking in the middle of the street in the first place. Anyway, when he turns the corner to get home and thinks that he's finally free of them, he gets to his driveway and finds a group of like 10-15 women all dressed in solid black blocking his driveway so he can't even park. They finally move so that he can get into the house. Doug decides that the best thing to do would be to call the cops on them. This simple act starts a war between Doug and the D.D. crew.

The D.D. crew are quite organized and get the best of Doug at the beginning. He gets sprayed with silly string, then egged and sprayed with a water hose. Things go bad though when one of the women, D.D. Dana (Megan Frances), drops dead after an argument with D.D. Dahlia (Tara Strand). When D.D. Dahlia gets back to the group, she says that she doesn't know what happened to D.D. Dana. Apparently when Doug comes to, he just misses the dead body in the yard. When they torment him again the next morning though, he goes and finds the dead body in his backyard and totally loses it. He thinks that he killed her and starts going on a murderous rampage killing all of them that he can find with whatever he can find. It's really quite amusing actually, the gratuitous violence. He even uses a mouse trap! Can Doug stop before they're all dead? Will he go too far?

The DVD also has a bonus behind the scenes featurette which is short, but amusing. It's mainly the cast and Creep Creepersin (writer and director) talking about the movie and their role in it. It does give you some additional insight into how the story came about as well. The beginning of Ding Dong Dead is a bit slow while Doug is lying around fantasizing, but once it picks up and gets going, it's a bit more interesting. It's not meant to be the world's most deep movie ever created, but it is entertaining. I'm not sure I can see repeat watchings, but if you're looking for some mostly mindless entertainment, check out Ding Dong Dead.
