Countdown To Wednesday gives an eye-opening and educational view of the inner workings of the Comic Book industry. It truly is "An inside look at the Comic Book Biz + How to break in" as the subtitle says on the cover. You get to hear about the industry from some of the most comic book legendary talent alive today, including Stan Lee, Marc Silvestri, Paul Dini, Mark Wald, Jim McLaughlin, Matt Hawkins and others; some of the people who brought such wildly popular comics like Spiderman, Magdelena, Superman, Spawn, Flash, Witchblade, Midnight Nation, Hellboy, Battle of the Planets, Kingdom Come, The Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, 30 Days of Night, Rising Stars, Darkness, Jingle Belle, Captain America, Lara Croft: Tombraider, Batman, Ghost, X-men, among others. In addition to the comics themselves, these properties have served as licenses for use in various other entertainment types, such as movies, television series and - yes - even games.

If you're interested in breaking into the Comic Book industry, I would definitely suggest watching Countdown To Wednesday. Even if you're not trying to break in and prefer to just get a glimpse on the inner workings of the Comic Book industry, you'll find that Coundown To Wednesday is not just educational and insightful, but is also quite entertaining. It seems that it takes a sense of humor to make it in the Comic Book industry; the interviews (and outtakes) show the interviewees to be quite humorous and spontaneous.

All-in-all, I found Countdown To Wednesday to be a great DVD; I would recommend it to anyone with interest in the Comic Book industry.
